Can you imagine a world without men? No crime and lots of happy fat women. ~Nicole Hollander
this statement stands true ;as invented by the lord we humans appear in two sets men and woman, and when talking about one the other can’t be left behind. A female could give you a thousand reasons as to why their species is special but the real reason can’t be given without considering what men think about the fairer sex. This women’s day eMagzin brings to you the two dimensional approach towards” Women”

There is this adage ” You should always remember where you come from.”
I guess its about that time of the year where we all bow down our heads in respect , with humility to reminance where we come from.
The words of respect from my personal dairy. GASP!! Again!!
” I was a man in a woman’s body but then i was born”
Ok, not my original but i found them to be pretty sweet. Just like all these lovely delightful creatures called mothers ,sisters, wives, lovers are as sweet as honey in our lives. To be tangled up in the cobwebs of our daily lives that we forget to thank them, cherish them, make them feel truly wanted is so easy. And so to our own comfort we have made a day called Women’s day.
Just a day 8th of march. What do we do on this day, wish them a “happy women’s day” and probably take them for nice day out or spend time with them on this day. What after the 8th of march, all the same??? back to Ground zero?
Well if one asks me, not this year. I make a pledge this year, from 8 th of march , I make a resolution , I ll do something , I ll make this a habbit kiss my mother every morning i go out, nothing extravagant but the smile on her face will be BLISS.BLISS. BLISS.
It will also remind me of how important she is, as a matter of fact each and every women, for they teach me alot.
HAPPY WOMEN”S DAY!!

From her desk:
I am a woman who considers herself lucky to be one.
One is not born a woman, one becomes one. ~Simone de Beauvoir, The Second Sex, 1949
Every year on the 8th of March our social environment is filled with the buzz surrounding women, but truly do we need
one? We do not do a favour by being born as daughter’s, lovers and wives, it’s the way we are, unconditional love patience and understanding are not our virtues but they are habits that are imbibed deep inside us. We can’t help being like that. This is not what we need to celebrate what we need to do is to celebrate the coming out of women from the oppression that they were facing, the strength with which they endured all that they were subjected to just on the pretext of being the weaker one.
The celebration of this day still remains confined to the walls of the homes of the people living on the sunnier side of the picture the change needs to be brought in the grimmer end. We need to bring about a change in lives of million other women living in the lower strata of the society.
This women’s day let us all think about the larger picture lets be the change that we want to see.

Hold that thought forever, Gurpreet!
Well quoted, Aashna. Simone de Beauvoir lived by her own rules in an age when feminine thought was frowned upon. The Indian woman has a long way to go…
