Its the holiday season and everybody loves holidays. Christmas just went by and New Year’s Day too. All this means its greetings and meetings all over. Wishes all across the world are being exchanged for a wonderful year ahead, and with the wishes comes a special treat called “gifts”.
This past week I had an opportunity to try this particular kind of chocolate – Liquor filled chocolates which sounded to me like an eager-beaver delite.
Liquor and chocolates – one of those rare combinations that spell out sin and indulgence.
What a treat it is to put those tiny bottles of vodka, whisky and rum made of chocolate in the mouth. The melting taste of chocolate with a burst of alcohol in the middle leaves one longing for more.
Wait, did I say alcohol? Yes, Splendid!
Now when I first had one of these I remember biting off the neck of the bottle which lead me to the visual of alcohol filled in it… I was ecstatic!
Goodness gracious me put the whole of a miniature vodka/whisky/rum chocolate bottle in mouth and let that thing melt and your taste buds start savouring the fine taste of alcohol and chocolate.
Now here is the inside scoop, the liquid inside is not exactly the spirit straight out of a bottle of a Cognac or a Sherry but a syrup made from alcohol and sugar solution, so getting high on these chocolates might not be a priority .
Although tempting, it is not considered as a good idea to fill chocolates with neat liquor. For best results, the liquor is added to sugar syrup or mixed with a little fondant or marzipan.
Various flavours are available when it comes to liquor filled chocolates like Cointreau, Southern Comfort, Kahlua, Jack Daniel`s Whiskey, Remy Martin, Grand Marnier to name a few.
Famous brands associated with the production of these chocolates are Asbach Urait Chocolates, Finlandia Vodka Liquor Chocolates, Bailey’s Irish Cream and various others.
So why sulk in those demanding resolutions that we make every year to either quit chocolates or alcohol. Go ahead , treat yourself with a box better yet gift someone. It sure looks like a bang for buck.
As the Oscar Wilde once famously quoted ” The best way of over coming temptation is to giving into it.”

We have a chain of liquor stores here in Texas Liquor filled chocolates generally no not have enough alcohol in them to worry regulators so they can be sold at any store. You must be 21 years or older to purchase liquor filled chocolates and candies. Indian climate is such that you cannot buy liquid liquor chocolates because the chocolate melts and the liquid liquor oozes out.

I have been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
