Why you want to be an entrepreneur?

Most things in life are driven because of some good and strong reason. So, one should always have a strong why i.e. one should have a strong reason for being an entrepreneur. If your why is strong, you will run towards your goal more efficiently. And if you think you really want to be this, read further.

01. Start Reading

You got to read the books. You have always heard that books are human’s best friend still lots of us don’t read. You can learn a lot of things and even get solution to your many problems. So, start developing a habit of reading books; it can be of any kind motivational, fiction, anything. Just keep reading

02. Always stay positive

The basic need for an entrepreneur is to stay positive. There will be times you will be shattered to pieces but it is up to you whether you recollect yourself or not, the sooner the better. Always try to see things in a positive manner.

03. Tackle your fears
The basic nature of humans is to run away from our fears. We all have some fears whether for public speaking of the fear of heights. We should always try to do away with these fears. This will make you stronger and will help you take challenges and complete them.

04. Make a Diary
Start maintaining a diary from now onwards. This should be your closest friend. Note anything and everything on it, your achievements, daily chores or the weirdest idea to start a business. Always keep it handy.

05. Set your Goals
Everybody in this world wants something. Some want cars others want financial stability. On the first page of your diary make three columns. Now mark them with short, medium & long term goals. Now list down your every desire under these headings. Make sure to elaborate for example, if your medium term goal is a car then; be specific with the model and the price. And paste a picture too, if you can. This will help you reach your goals as soon as possible. And feel free to list your goals and use as many pages you want.

06. Plan yourself out
Always work toward your goals with a plan. If you have a plan everything will work out. Always plan your day the earlier night and if you can then plan your week in advance. This will help you do all your work before time. Always follow your schedule and soon you will come to know that you are running towards your goal. This will help you save time on things like internet and television. Stay ahead of time.

07. Stay focused
Stay focused in everything you do. Most people don’t succeed because they lose their focus. There will always be some kind of problem on your way towards your goals. But you need get past those. Problems are the measure of success. If you are meeting problems on your way then you can be sure that you are heading in the right direction.

08. Learn important skills
One should always keep on learning new things on the way. The skills like marketing/sales, public speaking, writing & networking etc always come handy. If you have these skills you can easily survive in any condition. If you have these skills you can make your any plan work, well.

09. Make use of surroundings
Use your surroundings well and the most important thing in your surroundings are ‘the people’. Firstly, keep yourself surrounded by like minded people. This will help you retain your sight and will help you stay focused. Secondly, always help others genuinely. This will help you maintain a healthy relation with the know people and begin new one with unknown people. The most important asset of life is people. Always treat others well, you never know where will you need their help.

10. Keep learning
Always keep on learning. You will be surprised to know that even a vegetable seller can teach you lot of things but you can only learn if you are willing to. Never let your ego come in the way of your learning.

Now, don’t just sit here. Go on, be successful.

Incredible line of text.

This is AWESOME…
Thanks for putting this…

Thanks for your comments, all of you.

Can you list some real examples on how to become an entrepreneur? These seem like all interesting tips for keeping life organized and systematic but there is nothing here that really strikes out. Perhaps you can list some examples in your own life where you started up a business and so on.

Imagine!
I beleive imagination is so very important.

@siddhartha I picked up these points by studying lots of rich people on the forbes list.

@prabhjot bedi Yes you are absolutely right. You got to imagine, to achieve anything. Three steps Imagine, Execute and Finish (Never leave in between)
